Welcome to the official site of the world famous Hawkstone Park Moto Cross Circuit. With the fixtures for 2009 now compiled here is a brief preview of what we can expect from the forthcoming year:-

February 28th & March 1st. We kick off with the 12th Annual Hawkstone International and this year the event will be promoted by HIMX who have agreed terms with Salop Motor Club to take over the running of this prestigious fixture.
This event attracts all of the top Grand Prix teams as they begin preparations for the new season and we look forward to seeing the likes of Ramon, De Dycker and others performing on the sandy circuit.

April 11th & 12th. Grand Prix Moto Cross returns in the shape of the first round of the MX3 World Championship promoted by RHL Activities and current Champion Sven Breugelmans will have plenty of opposition this time round including the return of ex- World Champion Mickael Pichon.

May 3rd & 4th. The AMCA have the circuit for a prestigious two day event.

June 13th & 14th. Salop Motor Club promote the Maxxis British Moto Cross Championship. The entry for this event will be headed by the current Champions namely Shaun Simpson MX2 and Billy Mackenzie MX1 but there will be numerous challengers including our own local rider Ray Rowson, out this year on a factory CCM, and all will be chasing after their respective titles.

June 27th & 28th. It is the turn of Cumbria Twin Shock Club who are running one of their popular two day events.

July 11th & 12th. Another long standing event takes place when the Shropshire Classic Club, headed by Terry and Maggie Challinor hold their well supported race meeting which this time includes a Round of The European Classic Championship.

August 8th & 9th. The British Masters visit the track for a prestigious two day event.

September 5th & 6th. The ever popular Junior Team Race will be incorporated into the Salop Motor Club two day event which completes an action packed calendar of events for Hawkstone 2009.
